Scrooms guide: your first session

Open SCROOMS on Roblox. In AllThingsHow’s opening walkthrough, you begin in Songkeeper’s Grove and follow the quest to Leo, who gives you the Wooden Lute. Equip it and complete the first-catch objective, then return to him.

Keep the current quest text visible as you move. If your objective has not advanced, check whether you equipped the item and finished the conversation rather than immediately looking for a different location.

1. Play the instrument to draw a Scroom toward you.
2. Tune before it commits. The official instructions say Tune Speed makes this stage quicker.
3. Keep the Scroom in the catch zone. The progress bar fills while you hold it there and drains when it leaves.
4. Fill the bar to finish the catch.

These stages come from the creator’s game description. Follow the prompts shown on your device; this guide does not prescribe untested keyboard or touch controls.

If you are struggling, identify the stage first: tuning and keeping a creature in the catch zone are different tasks. That makes it easier to compare the effect of a new item without assuming it fixes every part of the minigame.

The selling walkthrough directs the player to Julian’s stall in the Grove. It describes a choice between selling the held Scroom and selling the whole inventory, followed by a price quote.

• Read the action so you know which catches it includes.
• Review the quoted total before accepting.
• Check the Chimes balance afterward and record the amount actually received if you are measuring a session.

The reported early upgrade is Tamer’s Guitar at 100 Chimes. The source articles disagree on the selling NPC's name, so use your current purchase objective and the item name in the shop. After buying, check that the guitar is equipped.

The instrument reference shows its reported stats and explains the unresolved Resonance value. If you are saving for another purchase, the Chimes calculator uses your own session totals instead of a claimed universal farming speed.

The progression walkthrough describes Leo sending you to Halden, followed by “The Next Step”: visit five Grove Statues and return to Halden for the Ocarina. Use the quest counter to track the interactions you have completed.
